This is the start of a fic that will probably never get any more written, because, well, it's me. Fic writing and me have a difficult relationship where, while I have been told I'm good, I have trouble keeping it up in the long term.
This is, umm... a crossover? Of sorts? Thing is, it's a crossover with a 'verse of my own creation, like Thousand Suns is, only the recognisable half is Harry Potter.
( I totally intended the Mary Poppins likeness. )

It seems Telstra is quick to reset net speed once an account is paid up. I am at least glad of that.
So in my latest LJ-exile I have been doing pretty much the same as always - played the Sims (both 2 and 3), played BG2, read fanfic, listened to Linkin Park a lot.
Amongst all that however I wandered over to the Attic to see if it had any signs of life... and between that and playing my dear crazy Orin as a BG PC (well, I used her picture - the icon of this post - as game portraits), I have written BG fic.
It's only a very short fic of how her team mates (well, mainly Anomen) think of this crazy little Bhaalspawn, but I hope some time I can get around to writing more. As it is, the fic is posted both at the Attic and on FF.net. The FFN copy is currently listed as "In Progress".
Anyway, I still have a day of shopping ahead of me, and need to go have a shower soon. I'm hoping to take at least one of my non-Xmas laybuys off today, something which should make paying the rest of them a bit easier. The online one I think is also paid as well.

I am really having it out with this chapter of Guardians of Time - it's a key chapter and it's ending up long. It's also a semi-battle scene but I have never had any experience with battle scenes.
I also think my one-chapter OC is too silent in the face of his life's work being summarily destroyed by a giant robot. I need to rethink his reaction - quite a lot.
Vector on the other hand is doing just fine, and Setsuna isn't even in this chapter (she's back on the moon, playing a game of chasies around the Lunar Palace gardens with the other royal children of the Alliance).

The TF/SM crossover ficlet from last week - I am continuing it, over on FNN. I did give it a title Guardians of Time. I just put up a second chapter - though like the first, it's only short.

This is old. Very old. It was from... 1995 or 1996, when I was trying to redo grade 10 in a Tafe course. My english teacher was pestering me so I got ahold of a dictionary... and this resulted.
