I'm sure I do this in every fandom, listen to a song that I feel has some small significance to some character or other factor.

This time it's been caused by me going and opening one of my pore neglected playlists - my Linkin Park one.


This is only part of the song Wth>You, and even then, not all of the lyrics feel apropriate. I have however highlighted the ones that struck me:

You know, I've always linked Linkin Park with FF7. Always.

Linkin Park started out in Dragonball Z for me - I DL'd AMVs set to Linkin Park. With You (the original version, the above-quoted version is from the Reanimation album) got linked to Harry Potter - specifically a rather angsty H/D fic I once read.

This makes the third song that's got attached to FF7. The other two are Riese Riese and Dalai Lama (Rammstein) - linked to ALHR, and I Wish I Had An Angel (Nightwish) - for the Tseng/Aerith pairing.

That's not including video clips.
