For all that listening to Rammstein and Metallica and other rock music is interesting sometimes it's nice to get back to grass roots music-wise.
"Grass roots" for me tends to be orchestral soundtracks and all-out classical music - stuff like Gladiator, the Baldur's Gate soundtrack and the Messiah.
As for the last one... well Mother convinced the Bint to join the church choir (we live, like, two doors away from the nearest church of our given denomination - literally) and one of the songs up for practice is Worthy Is The Lamb That Was Slain - the second-last song in the Messiah.
The Messiah is an old old favourite, harking back to some of our (both the Bint's and my own) classical music love, along with Beethovan's 9th, the soundtrack for Fantasia (the Disney cartoon movie - it's got several different composers included) and the grand-daddy of them all, the 1812 Overture.
Blessing and honour, glory and power be unto him that siteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb...
On the other hand, this damn song has some damn tricky timing in it...
