Trying to do the damn Tiber Owls train mission is going to be hell. I may need to change the settings so I have easier keys I have to hit for the uncoupling codes.
I never really experienced that one as being very short, but I suppose having to hit difficult keys can make a big difference. Don't be too precise with the whole avoiding the guards thing, you don't need to be and, if I remember it correctly, if you get it wrong or run out of time, you can just restart where you left off, with the maximum time.
I've currently got the keys set so they match the numbers, that may make doing it easier. I'll have to change it all back after I'm done with this bit, I just find having to hit 2 for the SELECT button is annoying.
That did help, having the keys configured to match the numbers, still, task with short timers unerve me a bit - the Fire Cavern wasn't bad because it had up to 40 minutes you could pick but the trains were only 5 minutes - short enough to get me jumpy.
The if you mean the robot thing at Dollet Tower, the advice my walkthrough gives is to hit it twice with Quez then run like hell.
The running part is tricky 'cause it gives a bloody small margin to do it in (in other words, only when the advice banner saying hit [this key] and [this key] to escape) so I usually compusively pound the keys from when Zell says "Is it repairing?" and hope to hell I get away. The other point is that if you have a GF timer counting down to a summoning you can't escape either.
I had hell the first time, did my best to pound it, then got out. It caught my team up at the bend at the top of the hill in front of the tower and that time it went down perminently. Then I just had to cope with random galbadian soldiers the rest of the way back to the beach.
No, I didn't make this moodtheme, I think it was made by jen0va99. I love Cloud's faces.
