I finally got around to reading the new chapter of Twigcollins' fic Exegesis.

With the way someone else was warned in the comment thread I found out about it's existance from I was expecting worse.
Sure, Cloud's doing some really harsh shit but I was kinda expecting him to actually kill one of the other AVALANCHErs. (Though given what he did do - avoiding spoilers here! - I supose it's almost as bad!)

Mrr! At the moment I'm really in dire need of fanfic - so much so I'm rereading stories. Current reading is one of Lady Yashodoa's girl!Cloud fics - not RtD though as it's a WIP and I'm not sure I care to put myself through that unless a new chapter turns up (and even then, RtD is in game-events and frankly, Yashodoa is not all that great at avoiding cookie-cuttering her canon-event writings).

Honestly, I'm hoping on nashidesei's progress on Bound for good reading. I'm also considering suffering through a couple of long FF8 fics over on Noire Sensus that I couldn't complete the first time (due to excess angst) or reread a few of the good ones over there.

Blah, I worry when I'm in this sort of mood, it's this sort of stage that leaves me open to uprooting myself into another fandom totally.
