Debating religion is crap.

The Bint is christian, in fact she's the sort of christian who believes in a literal 6 day creation and takes many of the stories in the bible at face value.

Frankly, I'm tired of the whole thing so I'm declaring myself exempt from it and declaring myself a Valarist.

Given the Valar I know (online), it'll be a far freer existence.

(This does not reflect in the Bint, she's still a christian, just one with a Valarist alter ego now.)

I find debates that happen there fun most of the time but religion... well it's a sticky subject, especially christianity which gets the bigest amount of flack ever. Besides, it's not easy facing comments like evilsadist's which implies I must have something wrong with me for taking the bible at face value without any of the neo-evolution interpretations that have cropped up.

Don't let it get you down. I have been tarred and feathered for defending my beliefs and expressing my opinions, which didn't mat5ch smeone else's so I could care lews what is thought of me now. And I admit that I have some strong views.
