This is a personal style, one that is purely self-invented. It's whole point is that it is detailed as hell. The secondary point is that simple line drawings line human figures can be hidden within it for the viewer to try and find.
This particular picture has Sephiroth in it. Try and find him, and his name.

2005-09-18 08:24 (UTC)This one I keep thinking Masamune would be the easiest since I followed it's lines quite a bit.

2005-09-18 08:55 (UTC)More often than not these do get a pause in the middle of doing them - I am having horrors over my latest one because it's on an A2 size sheet and I have to do it and several more before December - christmas presents since I'm going to Sydney where practically all of my extended family is, both Mum and Dad's (I'm going down because my uncle (Mum's brother) is getting married again and my aunt (Mum's sister) has invited us to stay through 'til christmas).
I would estimate this one took maybe 3 or 4 days, though if it weren't for the fact that at the time I was also doing another of this style plus my first FF7 chibi pics it might have taken less.

2006-02-03 02:04 (UTC)Average time for an A5 piece like that is maybe a couple of hours to a day, depending on how involved I get. Most of the time I pause in the middle, leaving it for anything from a few days to a few months before I complete one.
What I really need is to start going to church again, I never listen to the surmons so it's always a good place to draw.
