The most significant picture I ever had on my wall was the "Unicorn Valley" one. It is of a blonde woman in a peach dress, her head turn to the side, with three unicorns behind her, on a backdrop of a valley bordered by waterfalls, at dusk.

Ever since at least 8-yrs-old, when I first saw the cartoon movie of The Last Unicorn, unicorns have been my favourite mythical beast. When I was about 14-ish, I asked for a unicorn poster as a b'day present. That one was the one I ended up with.

That poster gave rise to a pet favourite character, Caroline Task, and eventually a whole saga that still lingers to this day, in the form of such characters as Tael, Briieth, Oraania, Harliquin, and even Mimi Sardinia - the one I now use as my online ID.

I still have that poster. It's a bit worn and aging, the laminating is slit in a few spots, but it's still on my wall.

The rest of my pictures are mostly fantasy pictures, including my far more recent Firkraag picture (a red dragon - it reminds me of the red dragon in BG2, hence the name), though the piece of wall behind my door has Legolas and a map of Faerûn, instead of the usual mass-produced fantasy posters.

I haven't seen The Last Unicorn in years! I used to adore that movie.
I only just found out it was a novel a couple of years ago. I've been meaning to hunt down a copy and read it. Have you read it?

Yeah, I have. I managed to find a copy of it and it in my collection.

One thing I have to say for the movie, it is very true to the book. Oh sure, there's always details that have to be left out, but reading the book I can hear the voice actors that did the movie.
