Well I should have read the damn pack before I bothered.

Turns out I don't have enough RAM on Primus to run LN. The irritating part is, I did have enough on Feanor but when I had to change, I didn't think to ask about the RAM that would be in Primus. I didn't consider having a new 1 TB drive installed either, but whatever.

Thing is, I can't afford to do anything at the moment - I have bills, xmas to buy for, not to mention the trip to Sydney, and I don't think I'll have the money spare to get more RAM installed.

I guess I either have to do a full reinstall back to Ambitions again, or just not play the game.

Do you still have your old computer? If the memory modules are the same, you can just swap them out, can't you?

No, I don't have the old, but it wouldn't have worked anyway - Fea was too old for it. I think the motherboard that was in it was at least 6 years old, if not more, and one of the problems was that one of RAM modules were going out (as was Aire - the original hard drive) but the good ones were probably the wrong type anyway. Even Vector (my 1 TB HD) didn't want to work in Primus, which is why it's now in an external housing.

I am thinking of calling the store to get a price estimate anyway, so I know how much I need to put aside.

I feel for you, I just paid £55 for a 1G memory card, because I don't have a secure delivery address and therefore couldn't order online. Look online, they were nearly £20 cheaper there, so it's worth a skeet along the same lines in your neck of the woods.

I did go and call the shop I usually go to - they can give me 2G for around $90-$100 (around the £55 mark, but that probably includes them putting it in too). I just have to wait for a fortnight when I can spare that money.
