More Goths

Well I can't leave it for long, so here's more semi-random pics from the Sims 3.
So last time I said that Gunther had come out as a really fugly elder, but now I have decent pictures of him to show it.

Here he is in Central Park - I think this was while I was playing the Steel house and Nathaniel ReallyARedAndBlueTruck Cullen, but then some good screenshot moments are when you're playing a different house.

Here's Gunther, as an elder, after I'd done his makeover. I have a huge fondness for the ability to give sims streaks and didn't want to leave his hair plain white, so I put in some of his old colour.
But still, I found him annoying to look at so in the end...

Grim came for him.
Actually I had a bit of luck, because I was all ready to go ahead with the plan to scale back lifespans and try to live him out, but then partway into transfering Life fruit into Morty and Cornelia's inventories, I got the question in my head as to whether the "Trigger Age Transition" would make an elder die of old age. Turns out it does. Still I haven't seen Gunther's ghost appear any night since.

He did get mourned. Ended up having to send Cornelia to the day spa to get her in a reasonable mood.
Anyway, on other parts of the family, here's Antoinette.

Well, here's Morty holding her during her toddlerhood. One of his personality trait is "Family-Oriented" (will be good for him when he and Bella eventually have Cassandra) and he's really shown it with how he's been with Ani.

Here he is, reading a book with her. For some reason (probably to do with placement of the things in Ani's room) anyone reading to Ani did it in the bathroom.

I also found that mystery ghost - her name is Lolita Crumplebottom, but Cornelia doesn't show any sort of filial relationship, while the other two Crumplebottoms in the manor graveyard are Corni's parents. Anyway, Loli looks like she died of electrocution, and may have been fairly young when she did.
Meanwhile, there is always so much to do around a large lot like Goth Manor, one adult and one teen can't do it all, especially when the garden needs the better part of half a day's work on it's own. So with the mysterious disappearance of Anna Song, I created a new sim to be the Goth family's housekeeper.

Meet Azure Istilyn. Yes I named her after the colour I coded her with. The surname is a Drow one I used to use for my S2 drow sims.

Here she is in a dressing gown, talking to Ani.
One the matter of Ani, I gave both her and Corni birthdays at the same time, though I only got good pics of Corni.

Blowing out the cake. The kid in the background is Ani, before her childhood makeover.

Even Simon was there to cheer his daughter.

And the results of old age on Cornelia Goth. I think she aged better than her husband.

And later, after I made her over... and made her over again because I got the colours wrong the first time. There's not that much difference, as the second round of her wardrobe was just colour-shifted to purple but stayed dark enough to be almost black.

And here's a shot of Antoinette, after her own makeover.
And lastly, a few random things.

I am definitely working on Morty and Bella being together.
While Corni was out rock collecting, I went into the gorge that runs from the back of the sports stadium up to one of the lakes - Crystal Springs I think - at an angle to see this:

Sunset Valley's own rock art!

And it's on both sides of the gorge!

I also had a random siting of Nathan. I wonder if he was there fishing?

Prudence Crumplebottom (Corni's mother) seems to like the garden sprinklers.
And quick look back at Nathan's house...

Kaycee as a child.

Side effect of one of the mods to let children use fun stuff - stretchy Kaycee. I've had this happen with Bella too, while she was cooking as a child.

Morty chats with his gran, unconcerned at her see-through state.

This is from Morty's wardrobe makeover... look at his feet. I didn't pick them, they were on him when I first went to do his PJs. I was amused enough to keep them.
