So, I'm home from spending the day and night over at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
agiftedmind's place.
She met me in the city so we could get some last minute groceries and catch the train up to her place, spent most of yesterday afternoon watching DVDs (The Day After Tomorrow, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and TF2007) and playing with the toys both of us had there (due to her situation, most of hers are in storage, but she picked a few up yesterday morning). She had some of the Thai noodle soup I love with the whole chilli powder sachet in it, and a couple of my plotbunnies and fanfic reports managed to break her brain. I also inadvertently gave her plotbunnies and she's writing at least one of my plots up into a fic. I'll be very interested when she does get it done and posted, the first few paragraphs she'd written there on a writing pad were really fun.
Her sister was out for the night, allowing for bedding space for me and I slept quite well.
I woke two hours before my [mobile phone] alarm had been set for and almost an hour before she woke ('Cade, don't worry about that, I spent it listening to my MP3 and playing Tetris) and after that we started in again on my G1 discs, picking up where we left off when she came down to my place. Got through another two discs worth of episodes before Mum rang wondering when I was heading home and I decided I should pack up soon as by that point it was past 3 PM. Watched Auto Beserk before I left though - the much-loved episode about Red Alert glitching and being seduced by Starscream - the basis of both the Red/Star pairing and the Red/Inferno pairing.
Anyway, we had fun, talked and talked and talked until my face ached (I ended up telling her my whole Griever bunny, including covering the plots of FF4, FFX/X-2 and FF8, and the links that the bunny had to Transformers), and I have come home with two more of her mechs than I had before - Classics Optimus and Nemesis. The aforementioned storage issue? The two in question (as well as the two I was already minding) would have ended up going back into storage, but here they can have fun with my group - and in Nemesis's case try to bully around my MP Convoys (not that he'll have my luck, even with his hip problems my Magnus alone is a strong-willed toy-muse.
One last mostly unrelated thing:misskalloway? I would like to take up your offer of your intermediating with Amazon - at least for Unicron as my auction for him has been outbid and I am not willing to bid any higher as one from Amazon will cost me less. I don't know yet about Primus, I'm still top bid on him but the auction has 12 hours to go and someone could still swoop in at the last moment and outbid me on him. Considering that, I won't go and make the order with Amazon until after Primus goes off, but I can work out details and mailing address with you in that time.
I hope to catch you on IM Kalli, but not right now as I need a nap (but maybe I'll wake in a few hours and you'll be online then *shrug*).
