Well things have been... interesting for me. Yesterday I woke up ridiculously early, sat on the computer for a while until Mum woke long enough to inform me that she wasn't up to doing the shopping, then I spent more time fooling around until the time money usually went into my account, only to find I had significantly more money than I reasonably expected. Well I rang Centrelink about it and found out that what I have been waiting for has finally gone through.
See, what with all the problems I've been through, with surgery and stress problems, I put in an application for the Disability Support Pension and I was told on the phone that it had finally been approved. The money in my account was my backpay on that, as Centrelink backpays to the date one applied for the DSP, and I was also due my regular payment today.
Anyway, I went ahead with my plans to meet up with
agiftedmind down at the Hyperdome and we spent the day wandering around there, looking through shops and talking a lot. Mudflap now has his brother to sit on (yes, really, since I haven't yet transformed Skids into robot form, Mudflap - who is in robot form - is sitting on top of him), and
agiftedmind got a Chromia figure - the RotF unicycle Chromia, which I totally want one myself.
All that walking has made me very achy though.
Today Mum got a haircut on my money, we did huge grocery shop because there's been a few weeks that Mum hasn't been able to fund a full shop and there will probably be a few more so we needed to stock up. Our average is $150 (AUD) a week but today's ended up at $250.
I have also put bids on a Unicron and a Primus figure on Ebay. I'll have to see how that turns out though, because they are on bid and the auctions still have 2 days to go.
I am a little miffed at Amazon because they had good prices on the two but they don't ship toys outside America, so if these auctions fall through I may need to get aid from a US citizen so I can get the two from Amazon.
I also want to get the two MP jets, but I'm waiting on the results on the planets before I go for the easier buys.
My fun isn't over yet, I'm going up to
agiftedmind's place tomorrow and staying overnight so we can slag around and watch DVDs and such.
Right now however I am too tired for much more - not even Sims 3 - so I am going off to have a nap.
