Apocalypse Class

I just thought up names for Ragnarok's sister ships.

See, when Adel was launched into space, her tomb was boosted by three ships - all identical to the Ragnarok.

So, names:

Esthar Apocalypse Class Spaceship

Ragnarok

Armaggedon

Leditotsor


Before you ask what "Leditotsor" means, it is a somewhat more pronouncable version of LDTOTS, which in turn is the initials of Long Dark Teatime Of The Soul.


I doubt Adel was happy about that name. XD

I don't like these headphones I bought, the ear pieces are tilted the wrong way. I'm not going to return them though, they only cost $10.

I made a mistake with my money, though it's not drastic. I merely forgot to make allowance for the monthly fees on my account so I'm going to have to delay paying the phonebill until that comes out. I don't think Testra will be too upset if I am only $6 short.

I will be baking my own birthday cake - if we can find the damn cookbook that is! The cake is a mudcake - one I made a few weeks ago that has almost a whole block of cooking chocolate in it and a whole packet of ground almonds. About the only things I do change in it is the liquor content (swap for some apple juice just for the moisture) and I add a bit of coffe powder in the melted chocolate mix (which is made up of chocolate, butter and water - the coffee gets disolved in the water).
I do need the book though, I don't remember any of the measurements for it.

Mum's probably down picking up my b-day present and I am currently of a mind that I really need a nap. Maybe I'll go do just that - and put myself to sleep with happy daydreams of Squall and Laguna.

Plotbunnying, again

I have been idly contemplating a different version of the game events, where Squall can communicate a lot more clearly with Laguna in the "dream world" and ends up becoming something like friends with him.

The problem is how to handle Rinoa. If Squall doesn't fall for her then other reasons have to be invented for why a hell of a lot of the Third Disk even happens.

( So how to get Squall to help out )

In other news, I need a new set of headphones. My current set are starting to fail. I'd also like to get some CD-Rs, the DVDs are all very well but there may times when I want to record a only a small amount and it's a bit of waste putting it on a DVD. I can probably get a ten pack at either Big W or at Coles - it depends on whether Mum wants to go to the Hyperdome - we've swapped our groccery shopping to Coles instead of Bi-Lo so we're not going down to the Hyperdome every week anymore (the nearest Coles is north of us in a smaller centre, Bi-Lo and Big W are south in the Hyperdome).
