Reno the Elf?
13 July 2005 03:12I had this rather vivid image flash into mind of Reno ala AC that makes me think he would work well as a model for a D&D elf.
The thing with D&D elves is that they have a distinctively angular facial structure, which to my mind makes them look rather alien and despite the general reputation of elves being beautiful I don't particularly like it. On the other hand, if Reno were an elf I'd be more accepting because Denmark, Reno is cute!
That leaves me wondering what type of elf Reno would be. The basic elven subraces include Gold, Grey, Wild, Wood, Aquatic and Drow elves. He wouldn't be a Drow at least (black skin, white hair? Not Reno!) and I won't consider Aquatic. Using Forgotten Realms for specifics (as it's the campaign setting I know the best) I'd say he'd most likely be a Moon (Grey) Elf though the bright red hair would be remarkably unusual.
Pity I can't rely on Paint to shrink the picture I'm thinking is closest to the mental image I had or I'd make up a Baldur's Gate portrait set and spam the Attic with it.
Eee gads, I need to poke teh Bint into going and reading the new chapters of A Capella!
