Okay, so I am steadily depopulating Pleasantview of all my FF sims.

Hopefully I'll be able to get the new hardrive within a week or two and when I do I'll be reinstalling the game onto it so it's not taking up a huge section of the old drive.

Thing is, I have always felt just a smidge guilty about destroying the neighbourhood storyline of Pleasantview by shipping all the original residents out of it to make space for the FF sims I collected so when I do reinstall the game I want the original Pleasantview re-established and leave it that way.

Currently I have every household that was in the neighbourhood in the houses bin except for the Strifes, Loires, Valentines and Icequeen. The problem with those houses is the family connections - I don't want to lose those connections by shipping them all out piecemeal so I'm going to have to use one of my modded items to consolidate them all and ship them out together.

There's another problem with that though, doing that may be complicated due to family limits - I may have to break out the boolprop code... or on the other hand I may end up disolving two of my favourite marriages with the itent of reinstating them once I have them settled.
I'm wildly swinging between those options.

There's also another point, I don't want to lose the furnishings of the houses that will be emptied so I'm probably going to have to make up a couple of placeholder sims, though I have ideas on that. The placeholder for the Strife house may be a prime opertunity for me to include Loz and Kadaj in the neighbourhood and if I can find an outfit that I think suits her the placeholder for Laguna's house will end up being Ellone - as in the Ellone instead of an offspring I named after her.

The Ellone skin I have though, the clothing doesn't work on it - or on Edea for that matter but I found some LotR inspired gowns that one is the right colours for Edea. I'll have to track down the coat that the Org sims are wearing for Loz, he's another who's been gipped on clothing. I'll have to consider the issue of Irvine and Cid as well, since I haven't put either of them to use yet either.

All these moves did have a couple of good effects, it pushed me into doing a couple of mergers I simply haven't gotten around to. I finally put Quistis and Zell together, though they are in Quistis' snug little house instead of the monstrosity of landscaping Zell had.
I have also dumped Raijin and Fuujin into Seifer's household, though I will have to go back and furnish the house some time - that being the reason why I hadn't moved them in yet, I have developed an annoyance for all the petty details of furnishing.
And in one other happy circumstance, after I returned the Kingdom Trio back to their family home from the university waiting bin, I found out the game isn't giving me hell anymore about two teens sharing a house being able to Go Steady - so now the relationship between Riku and Kairi is official.

I don't think my perminent neighbourhood will be Spira, though I'll use that as an interim one. I need to go through the neighbourhoods I've downloaded and see what sort of space they offer before I settle definately into a specific one.
Maybe I need to track down a copy of SC4 so I can make my own.

And no, I still haven't made up the Org sims yet, everything's confusing enough in my game without worrying about raising them as well! I'll get to them though! I am too damn shippy not to want to see my favourite pairings happen!
