Vincent's Voice

Okay, so I got around to watching the DoC Intro someone posted on one of the comms and I'm not as displeased at Vincent's voice as I was with AC.

Honestly, I got used to his japanese voice from listening to AC in japanese so much that the english grated a bit. Oh it's very similar - they're both deep voices that are similar in tone but the english one has a gravelly tone to it and is just a faint shade deeper.

Strangely enough I can't help but think of my issues with New Zealand accents - too similar to dismiss but just different enough to grate.


I still maintain that Yuffie should have had some sort of Asian accent.

....So Steve Blum didn't do his voice? THANK GOD. I love Steve Blum, but not as Vincent. Dear lord. I awnted to hand him some cold medicine.

It sounds like the same guy as in AC - I just think it sounds a tad better though.

Okay, I finally watched it. XD But... yeah... it does still sound like Steve Blum.... but its improved a little. Still sounds like Spike Spiegel with a cold though... lol.

Ehhh... I've missed a lot of the newer animes, partly because I'm not watching much TV, partly because they aren't on free-to-air and partly because I can't find them in video shops and I'm not inclined to just buy them without seeing them first.

It was the first anime that I had seen... and it is what GOT me into anime, actually. I have to thank my roommate Allie for that. (SHe's not my roommate anymore... but she will forever be my roommate lol) You could probably find the torrent of it very easily. :D
