mimi_sardiniaWell I had a bit of an acident with my sims that has caused my plot for restructuring a few family groups to jump ahead a bit.
See, I made a family that had two purposes, to change Seph and Cloud's surname to Strife instead of Strife-Loire and to get Jenova into the same family group as Seph (Jenova is a child sim). The Strife family originally consisted of Jenova and Freya Strife (a name that comes from a fanfic) and to test one factor, I made another sim, Sheena Strifsu (or some such thing like that) and used one of my SimSlice items to bring her into the Strife household and another SimSlice item to kill off Freya (Usagi told me that if there's no adults then Family Services come for the parentless child).
Anyhow, today I moved Sheena and Jenova back onto a piece of land, intending on leaving them there until I was ready to break up the Strife-Loires. Just for the heck of it I threw them a house party. Somewhere along the way I also installed a couple of Rejuvination Chambers, and just out of curiousity I also put in a Debiltation Chamber - basically the opposite of the Rejuvination Chamber.
So Sheena decided to use the Debiltation Chamber, only she didn't get her moods back up in enough time and the Grim Reaper decided to visit.
Apparently a siom child can't plead with the Reaper.
Of course I panicked a little - I didn't want to have to remake Jenova again so I went over to the Cup Buddy (one of the SimSlice items I mentioned) and had Jen call over Seph and Cloud.
So, in a nutshell? The accidental death of Sheena ended up with Seph and Cloud moving households earlier than I intended.
Meanwhile, I am letting Tifa really live up to the romance aspiration - with a bit of help from the SimSlice Love Crystal. So far she's managed to WhooHoo with three sims (fast working girl!), and before that I found out what happens to a sim who loses aspiration points - they start acting nutso. This was the fault of me giving her the SimSlice telescope and letting one of her fears happen - alien kidnapping.
I suspect that's where the Cup Buddy originated from, he may be one of the crazy sim toys that pop up when someone has massive points loss. I wonder which life aspiration he's for though? Tifa was romancing a mop and there's a bit of the opening credits video where some chick is rocking a sack of flour with a face drawn on it - the same sort of face that the Mop and the Cup Buddy have.
I'm slowly getting Kingdom Come done, I got windows installed (though I think I missed some of the upstairs), walls painted and the ground floor furnished. Have to get it done soon, Nee wants to sneak out with Sora but what with Sora not being on a piece of land he doesn't have a phone for Nee to call him.
I think besides them all I have left to place is Rinoa and Quistis, and to move Wakka into the Gullwing house. I made Wakka up from stuff I already had, not having found a skin for him that will load in my game. It's just a good thing that whoever made the hair I have for Zell made it multi-coloured, I used the red version for Wakka and cobbled together an outfit that frankly, has Tidus' shorts.
Now Lulu will not be the only person sans a lover.
