I went looking for pictures of Yuffie and found one page that had both FF7 and FF8 pictures on it.

First off, the gunblade is a weird looking weapon. If I though Cloud's buster sword and Sephiroth's Masamune looked too large to be believable then the gunblade looks even more ridiculous as FF8 animation is far better than FF7's (AC aside).

The other thing is, what the hell were they thinking with Selfie's hair?!! I don't know anything about these characters - not like FF7 which I've learnt plenty about in a short time - but weird hair is weird hair. Seph's bangs don't count as the AC version are far more realistic.

On the other hand, I do have to say that Squall is cute - not that I know a much about him or the FF8 game, only having skimmed one character profile out of curiousity while looking at FF7 profiles. The long hair and TEH PRETTEH Sephiroth possesses aside, brunet guys appeal to me. I have a marked preference for Noldor and dark Sindars over Vanyar, Teleri and teleri silver-possessing Sindar.

Squall is cute. Though I've always liked Seifer better. -points to icon- And although FF8 doesn't have Sephiroth, it does have a good number of good-looking guys.
