I don't have anything of a social life, and the one person I did know to call over is now in Tasmania. Still, I do fine, I'm a big girl.
And I kinda brought the pumpkin troubles on myself, I wanted to try making pumpkin pie. On a suggestion from Mum, I did take the easy route and cooked the pumpkin with the skin still on. The worst part of pumpkin is the skin.
Admittedly, I cooked up a lot more pumpkin than I need for the pie, but I can use the rest for pumpkin scones.
