Cool weather.
Queensland - and Australia on a whole - is not the coldest place in the world. The only places that get snow in winter is the Snowy Mountains (hence the name) and some of the mountains in Tasmania. It's a cool day for me if it's in the low teens (Celsius). Hot is over 30 and stinking hot is 40 and up.
Also, it's summer here at the moment, though local (western Sydney) temperatures aren't living up to true Aussie summer - thankfully.
But I am more of a winter soul. Even if my toes get chilly and I need several layers of clothing, I love the cool, dry winter weather because then I don't feel like I am melting in sweat.
