mimi_sardiniaI have had some luck! My Sims game has played nice for once and my copy of Starwing's base sim I had in files hasn't caused havok with the game. The result is that I now have a sim version of my ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
tf_matrix version of her, Rachel Coulson.
First of all, the base sim:
For any who have seen the previous version of Starwing, yes, I know, she had a white dress with a bright blue vest instead of dark blue dress and black vest. When I went back and made up that sim for actual play, I changed the colours because this was too dark.
And here's Rachel. The big difference is obviously her outfit. I wanted something a bit more down-to-earth for her... and jeans.
The other major changes is mainly in makeup. Starwing has blue lipstick and totally blue eyes with no whites. Rachel has normal eyes and more normally coloured red lipstick. Actually, I am rather fond of Ambitions' new opacity slider, it means I can tone down almost every part of makeup - including tattoos. Oh that's another thing Rachel has, she has some sparkle tatts on her left arm, but it's not obvious, what with her long sleeves.
The hair is also slightly altered, but probably not enough to really notice. It's actually shaded into the brown range, but right at the dark end. It still has blue highlights though.
As for what I'm doing with the sim, I'm playing her in Twinbrook - the new town that came with Ambitions - and she is pursuing a career as a ghost hunter, while also being a hobby inventor.
