Megatron's rebellion in G1 is like Spartacus' Rebellion, only the Gladiators WON. There is a strange nobility to it (not saying he's a nice guy mind you) and the loyalty is there (Y hullow there Shockwave, still holding on after how many million years?)
And yes, while the Autobots could become warriors they kinda...sucked at it. With the Exception of Prime's crew that is. I mean until an Act of God the Autobots were LOOSING. (Intresting that it's Unicron's fault that the Autobots won, isn't it?)
The Decepticons on Earth are the best of the best. The Autobots in general are the best, the luckiest, the strongest to have survived the Decepticon's attacks, and Prime's Autobots are the best of that, made strong by the forge fires of a Decepticon 'cleansing.'
And I like Beast Wars (Shakespear! <3 Shakespear and LoonyToons in a single episode! <3<3 Dinobot! <3<3<3). Beast Machines can suck it though, unless they get eaten by Demons and the ones that escape are captured by Quints.
