So... the mystery of disappearing sims stuck again - twice. Not only did Emma and Holly up and vanish, so did Agnes, Jamie and their twins. I can get new copies of the Altos and set them up again in town, but I can't do that with Agnes because she wouldn't have the family connections to the Goths. Besides my only other copy of Agnes is an Elder (the one in the first game).
I placed a new copy on Nathaniel (copied from the First Game one) - he's on a little farm lot on Pinochle Point - a road that has, in the bease game, a handful of empty lots. I filled those lots though I'm not happy about there being two of them taken up by my auxiliary shops. I may change that.
I also moved Mort and Bella back to the manor - after losing two households of interest, I was ansty about leaving them there on their own. I just hope being at the manor makes it less likely they'll vanish on me.
The Waterfall Way lot I cleared of everything except the garden (though I did remove the Omni Plants), and converted it into a park. My problem with getting easy Flame Fruit and Life Fruit solved - there's two plants of each there that can be harvested by anyone. The only thing now that I'll have to nick from other gardens is custom-written books, like Gunther's "Sunset Gothic".
Though I will say, those plants in the new Waterfall Garden Park make great progenitors for home gardens - my usual gardening practices (i.e. fertilize everything with Lobster) make for some high quality produce and planting from high quality produce (the individual fruits and vegies can be planted just like seeds) means a highquality garden. The only downfall is the plants that I get seeds from the store for - Money Trees, Death Blossoms and Omni Plants, but at least with Omni Plants, if you feed it a perfect item, it grow a crop of perfect items.
Right at the moment though I'm playing with Kaylynn Langerak and Miraj Alvi. I have them in one of the new lots on Pinochle Point, working on Miraj's political carreer and Kaylynn's garden (grown off Waterfall Garden produce). I need to get around to their wedding and then back over to Goth Manor for Mort and Bella's wedding.
