11 July 2008 13:19Okay, I have been stuck offline for the past week.
The compy has sprouted a problem - the screen just goes totally black, with no warning and can't be recovered except by rebooting, and usually does it again after reboot so quick the reboot isn't even through yet.
The thing that has been keeping me offline is that I don't have money. It's ironic that this happened the day after I bought a $200 Transformer toy too.
I don't expect to have money to get it fixed until my tax return comes back, and I don't have the Centrelink group certificate yet so I can't send it in yet. As it is, my optimistic estimate of when I'll have money is the end of the month, my pessimistic one is halfway through August.
I'm only able to make this post through the library computer and the happy fact that I have a file containing my LJ passwords on Ravage.
Frankly, I'm currently spending my time sleeping a lot, watching DVDs, and playing around with Prime (not to mention the latest itteration of my OT3 that I have been entertaining). I'm already starting to go stir crazy, and this is only the start.
