Two things: Tested reinstallation of a game over on Fanyarë - it worked.
The other more annoying thing however that it seems I lost all my Sims 2 info somewhere. Thankfully I have an old save from before I installed the expansions and while it means I'd have lost several things - like some of my newer-installed sims, the stupid crap I was getting up to with the Spirans and garage edits to lots - I haven't totally lost all my families.
Now I have to work out the weird shit the loader program I nabbed from ModThe Sims2 is doing - it seems it wants to load all the stuff straight to Fanyarë and not to the EA Games folder.
Oh and that's another thing, the drive is currently named Fanyarë - after a RP character of mine who was one of the Silmarils. By technicality that means the older drive is Airë and the CPU is Nárë - the other two Silmarils, since the computer is Fëanor.
Can't do any more now though, have a doctor's apointment in the city.
