I am totally unimpressed with idiots who deface Wikipedia articles that I want to go read.

Just had to do a major restoration on Rikku's article and a few days ago I was unimpressed to find someone had removed Riku's KH2 picture from his article.

Does anyone else find it odd that the two Squeenix characters with the easily-to-confuse names both got annoying alterations?

KH1 - Learning Curve

Oi. I'm starting to learn how to move around in this game, I have a tendency to be a bit heavy on the stick, causing Sora to break into a run at odd moments.

I also need to learn how to keep picking items up during battle - hell, I haven't played a console game in frigging years and the last console I had was a hand-me-down SNES.

I also want to look up stuff and see what the initial choices really translate as meaning - the pros and cons of the choices of discipline and the meaning of the questions posed by Tidus Wakka and Selphie.


Edit: I looked up the effects of those questions, I decided I probably picked well.

I thought I was going to have somehing of a constant WTF reaction to voices, and I'm not far wrong already.
Right at the moment I'm running back and forth fighting Selphie, Wakka and Tidus in an effort to level up and I I have WTFery for all of them, plus a bit for Riku as well. Selphie is too childish, Wakka's accent (which I was aware that he had one) just makes me go "Ehhh... o.O", Tidus... just not what I thought and Riku, well like I said before, KH1!Riku still looks like a preadolecent kid, so his very teenage voice feels at odds with his looks.
Sora I just have to get used to, Kairi - well the WTF with her wasn't her voice, it was the pronounciation of her name.

Oh, and the opening music right at the start is not totally unknown to me, someone made an AMV that I watched at some point - multi-game FF - set to that music.

I am still a bit scared of Traverse Town, I am sure Leon's voice will be a very BIG WTF.


Oh and while I'm on WTF reactions? I'm surprised at just how small the PS2 console is. It's bloody tiny!

Edit 2: I like the way they intergrated the tutorial into the game - saying it's a weird dream Sora has.

I totall and utter defiance of Telstra, I have taken my PS2 off laybuy and also bought a memory card.

Now I can go squee at Sora, but not Riku, because KH1!Riku still looks like a kid, especially in comparision to the Sex On Legs that he is in KH2.

And I forgot to ask when I ducked into EB Games if they knew when KH2 would hit the Great Down Under. gardensgnome? Do you have any idea of when?


OH, and I really think I need to pay up my journal some time soon - I want more icons.
