So... how high a score has anyone racked up in the Winhill Dream while monster hunting? I got a bit persistent this time around (it helps that I was also using it as an excuse to watch Kiros pull Blood Oain at every opertunity) and got a total score of ( 44 monsters )
I supose if I was keeping count past the first 15 I could have racked up 50 - hell, if one were patient enough with fighting Catcherpillas and Bite Bugs I supose one could score up to 100 kills to report back to Raine!
The average for a basic patrol that I've usually done is between 10-20, usually 15-16, so you see how high 44 is.
I also noted that if one visits the Winhill Item Shop it brings up dialog options that all three options have Laguna noting the store owner hates him. Probably nothing new for most players of FFVIII but it's nice to see better proof of Winhill's apathy towards Laguna with my own eyes.
Also, going to chat with the soldiers standing around in the town square is interesting - the one who says that next time the Esthari soldiers come back they'll probably grab Ellone is rather ironic in a prophetic sort of way.
