mimi_sardinia: (More Fun Than A Hole In The Head)
You know that plotbunny that was chewing on my brain? It went into hiding on seeing the whole Space Station section of the game.

See the plotbunny is the one I posted some time ago about a Laguna/Squall version of the game events. Having watched through the events in space I just can't accept Squall going after Rinoa if he doesn't have some sort of strong feelings for her.

Besides that, I did try to start writing the thing but - what? I'm barely a few lines in and I'm stuck for words already? Hell, I'm doing better on my [livejournal.com profile] 1sentence set than on that thing! I only have 17 left to do!

All you lot who said "Write it!" at me? This is what happens when I try to write, I freeze up like nothing else and then get cold feet.

And I still haven't made cake.

Something I accidentally triggered in FF8:

Leave Rinoa in medlab, follow Piet, once in the corridor with the stairs go up them, there are two people standing looking out the window in the upside down corridor, either here or after you talk to Ellone (at the end of the upside down corridor) talk to those two standing there.

They start talking about how the President personally inspects Adel's tomb, comment on how Adel is sealed and how the equipment jamming any sort of contact with her (radio, telepathic, junction) is also narfing up radio transmissions planetside (bullshit, Adel somehow is using it to send messages back so it's not blocking absolutely everything!) and then the two spectators go on about how it was all the President's doing - he was the one who imprisioned Adel.

I just thought the scene was interesting (and amusing for the fangirly factor in how the two people talked about him!).

I have no idea what I am going to do tomorrow.

See, despite what my profile says tomorrow is my birthday (actually, the date on my profile is Mimi's birthday, not The Girl Behind The Keyboard's) and Mum has money to go eat out but she has nixed the option I wanted saying it's too fattening (fish and chips).

So I don't know what I want.

I don't want something normal but I don't think we can afford anything really expensive.

I suspect she'll balk at pizza too.

I also don't feel like making my cake.

Bleh.

Laguna is fun to watch, even when he's wearing a space suit.
