Before I go...

Two fic recs:

Surely, She Ain't Serious - A pairing I'd never thought of but the fic makes it not only believable but damn hot too. Cid/Tifa (which is saying something, I don't like many Tifa pairings).

Light and Shadow - a pet uncommon pairing of mine, Vincent/Aeris. Fic's kinda sad because it's right before you-know-what and includes a fanon idea that I don't tend to agree with (Aeris' death being nessesary) but damn! It's good reading!

Going Away...

Okidai, so this will probably be my last post until after christmas (unless my aunt has a computer with an online connection). While I won't be leaving until tomorrow evening (technically tonight, but I always had this thing about it not being "tomorrow" until sunrise, for some reason) but given that it's been forecast to be a hot day I will probably keep away from Fëanor for reasons of avoiding burnout.

Maybe by this time tomorrow we'll be in that mystery region south of Bulahdelah, but north of Maitland. I honestly can never remember towns in that stretch - every major town before Bulahdelah I can list off (Gold Coast/Tweed Heads, Murwillumbah, the Byron Bay turn-off, the Bangalow bypass (at this point if we were going to Lismore we'd go through Bangalow), Ballina, Grafton, Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour, Macksville, Kempsey, Taree, then Bulahdelah) but after that? next is where the freeway to Sydney starts, down near Maitland.

Technically I'm not going all the way to Sydney, my aunt's house is somewhere on the Central Coast (the area between Newcastle and the northern-most suburbs of Sydney - which includes a fair number of small towns). I will be going down to Sydney-proper for the wedding itself (so I believe), and if I can work out a day to go see Dad and my older brothers (so long as I don't have to see my step-mother -.-).

Eldest cousin won't be there for christmass but he'll be able to visit either the 26th or the 27th, so we'll stay until then. I've never seen his kids and frankly it's been ages since I saw Second Cousin's either.
It's been even longer since I've seen the kids of the uncle who's getting married. Hell, last time I saw them they were still kids!

So... if anyone wonders why I'm not posting or randomly commenting, that's why.
