I BEAT RUBY WEAPON!!!!

I will admit though that I cheated big-time to do so.

Let's see, Cloud, Vincent, Cid, ultimate weapons, all with Pheonix=Final Attack, Elemental=[something non-elemental] in armor, W-Summon, KotR, Megalixers right at the top of the item list. Cloud had a HP Plus as well.

Went in with Vincent and Cid KO'd, let Ruby bury it's fingers before summoning Pheonix, always double-summoned KotR, almost every third person up for an action tossing a megalixer.

Lesson in fighting Ruby: NEVER CONCENTRATE ATTACKS ON THE FINGERS BEHIND THE TEAM.

Doing so frees them and allows the WEAPON to cast that damn Whirlsand which KO's and tosses a teamate out of the fight in one go. Freeing the fingers will get you an eventual GAME OVER. Truth is this was my third run, the first wasn't well planned (I just can't time Mime right for it to work, that's why I had to cheat extra KotR into the game), the second I made the mistake of attacking the fingers.

Why yes, I am going to go fight Emerald as well! Besides, I've seen the stats, Ruby's the tougher of the two, and both of them are tougher than Safer Sephiroth.

After I tackle Emerald I'll go on with the plot - I haven't gotten to Hojo yet!

And no one better say boo about my using cheats to help, I know I am an abominable cheater, I feel no shame about being such.
