Here's an interresting thingie, I'm reading a FF8 fic (part of a series) where Irvine found a new GF. Thing is, said GF is Sephiroth.

I already know the author has a side story about it, I'll go read it later.

Nibelheim!

I'm in Nibelheim! Yey!

I've had to go back out of the town so I can save and I think I'll need to swap Yuffie out in favour of Tifa. I've probably missed key dialog though, not having Tifa in-group first time I went in, maybe I'll go back and redo Cosmo Canyon so I can put her in-team.

Though I have to work out how to play the piano, most guides I have only have the keys for the PS version so I'm running blind, hoping my ear for music isn't totally crap.

But I'm right on Vinnie's doorstep!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ I'll have Tall, Dark and Morbid soon!


Edit: I did redo it with Tifa, she doesn't add much to the discussion though - meerly observing in the "But wasn't this burnt down?" convo that her house had been rebuilt. You would think though that she would have suported Cloud's story about Nibelheim being burnt a bit more actively.

I got sick of the battle square and gave up only to find out when I checked the walkthrough that I can't get Omnislash until after I have the Tiny Bronco.

So, I guess I'll make my way back to the buggy from the Mt. Corel save point and head off to Gongaga.

So, I have Cloud levelled up to 50, and as a side, I have Aeris and Red well into the 40s as well.

I was a bit of twit, I didn't save at all on the way back until I hit the Mount Corel save point. I got worried enough over it that after I'd saved at Gold Saucer I had to go all the way back just to make sure the buggy was there waiting for me at the entrance to Mount Corel.
