The second - and far less serious - materia post

So, since I got totally side-tracked with my materia post, here is the totally unserious Part 2.

( Despite my better judgement I am almost tempted to write a fanfic starring these materia )

So, yes, the first one could be used in a serious fic while the latter two are pure comedy gold.

Edited to clear up a few points I felt were unclear or just plan badly thought out.

I am almost tempted to write a fic with *unique* materia

So, I saw a rather interesting post on myprettypuppet and got reminded of my unique materia, which in turn got me thinking about ( how, really, how *would* materia work? )

Next time I will actually talk about my materia instead of just how materia in general work.

I GOT BETA!!!!!!

I DID IT!!!!!!! I LIVED THROUGH A ZOLOM FIGHT, BEAT THE BIG UGLY THING AND GOT BETA!!!!!!!!!!

I took in my two highest HP fighters - Cloud and Barret - along with Aeris to act as healer, all of them with their best limit breaks (level 3) charged curtesy of the Cappawires and Formulae of Junon Forest.

Cloud and Barret each pulled their limit breaks straight off but oh irony of ironies! The Zolom flicked Aeris out! I was expecting to rely on her after the Zolom cast Beta but...

Well Snakey did pull it's master move and thankfully I'd had both Barret and Cloud casting Cure spells right before so it hit them while they were at full HP. Beta hits for about 1300 HP (or so I've read) and Cloud and Barret were over that.

Cloud was prepping another Cure spell (another irony, I forgot to change his Restore materia to one of the second level ones so he only had Cure 1, but it was linked to his All materia) and Beta had left Barret with another limit break so he let loose Angermax on the Zolom again and destroyed the beasty with Cloud surviving on only 2 HP.

So, since Cloud was still standing while holding the oh so important Enemy Skill materia he finally learnt Beta... and Aeris still has her unused limit break.

So, I will take them back through the mines and finally take them to Junon, and move on to the next stage of the game.
