Well I gave up trying to go back the third time I run into the Zolom and played everything through right from the grasslands but on the other hand I do have my first summon materia, Choco/Mog.
I'm back to levelling up in Junon Forests again - yes, I have Yuffie - and basically trying to make up the money I gave up to Fort Condor and generally improve the levels of my team. It's not going to be a short job, I'm trying to get Barret up at the moment then I'll skip over to Yuffie and Tifa - problem is, I suspect I'll be doing them one at a time to push my favoured team member - Aeris - higher. I want to up her as much as I can early so I can enjoy her abilities the longest I can before the inevitable happens.
I also want Cloud up (but I can't help push him up since I can't actually stick him in reserve) because I want to try something I saw discussed on
ff7 - getting Omnislash on the first disk. So I want him high to start with, before I get to Gold Saucer, so I can do that.
There's also a funny line I ran across, but I failed to save the screencap - in the Mythril Mines, when the team runs into the Turks, Tseng says something to the effect of "Aeris, good to see you". Of course, given the name Aeris has in my game, it comes across as some insane story about a guy whose genitalia is detatchable and wanders off on it's own. XD
Meanwhile the scene in general strikes me as interesting as far as the dinamics of the whole Tserith relationship. It does help suport an interesting little plotbunny that is in the back of my head, though it's a total het plotbunny (we are talking Tserith here).
Meh.
