The only pity is that the character options for the beloved don't include Laguna. On the other hand, the Mary Sue part ends with an option for them to honeymoon in Esthar so I will presume some wanker cut it off too early because they're an anti-incest assless freak and what got cut was the point that Miss [Braaaaaains Almasy] was really an evil plot by I-Am-Copycatting-Sephiroth's-I-Keep-Coming-Back!-gig Ultimecia to take over the world by seducing all the strong males in it and having them kill off all the strong girls, so Squall kills Miss [Braaaaaains Almasy], goes and cries on Daddy's shoulder and they end up shagging and realising a father/son relationship will just not work for them and live happily ever after.
