Spoony?!!!
"You spoony bard!"
Spoony? What is that suposed to mean? I supose I can be happy that it didn't get changed due to tighter translation but every time I have ever seen it I have always wondered what it's suposed to mean.
At least I know where it comes from now!

Edward is such a wimp anyway, he's weaker than Rydia is at the moment and it gets annoying when he runs away before I can use a Cure spell on him.
I had to replay from the Water Cave save point and backtrack to Kaipo anyway because I didn't have enough potions the first time. Blew all my money on potions, pheonix downs and tents. Gil's easy to make anyway, getting more MP? That's the hard part!

BUT... no matter how much I am in love with that game, there are a lot of times when you're in a party with Dumb and Dumber, and no matter what, Cecil does all the work, lol. I.E. Right now when you are in a party with Cecil, Rydia and Edward. Although Rydia has black and white magic, it really doesn't matter because, like you said, MP is a pain in the ass. MOst of the time, I just allow her to fight, cheer when she does 1hp damage, and then have Cecil do the 250 damage to kill the fiend. >.>
Then there are times when you're like, "YAY NEW PERSON IN MY PARTY... and you are JUST as useless." >.> That happens quite a few times. You'll see what I mean, lol.

WHere exactly are you? Are you at Damcyan yet?

I got this far my first time but I was hurting like hell because of no potions and no MP - didn't realise Edward's Heal ability wastes potions (oh Eru, he's like Larsa in that repect!). Hopefully I'll do better this time since I have a better potion supply and I know how to hit multiple targets with spells.

....it just irritates me how little you can play with Kain. I love Kain so much... and it's like... *sigh* Woe is me.
Edward just usually attempts to fight whenever I have him in my party. And Hide. He's good at that. >.>

Scratch my idle thought about Cecil and Rydia, I poked FF.net and found a C2 for Kain and Rydia. That's a pairing that sounds interesting!

.... I'm a homewrecker. I like Kain/Rosa. Or... unrequited Kain/Rosa since Rosa/Cecil is canon. Then of course I am madly in love with Kain/Valvalis. *see icon* :D

I've heard of Valvalis, but it will probably be a while before I actually see her, considering I seem to be getting in, at most half an hour's play a day.
Maybe the impression I get of Rosa being a typical damsel in distress is putting me off her a bit. I like female characters that have a bit of strength to them instead of just mooning over the protagonist.
Plus I think Larsa's had another side effect on me, he's shoved my tolerance for chan up higher than it's been since I left the HP fandom.

And in a game very similar to FF4, nonetheless"There'd be hundreds, that, those who'd gone attending the big fete. But if you count the spoony bards...that's a different matter altogether."
Oh god. WTF!?
'tis probably no more than a dirty term for...err, someone dirty?
OH AND I FORGOT:
Hi.

The only place I've really seen it is in icons - usually Demyx ones so I'm presuming FF fans borrowing the phrase.

I'm assuming it's some form of censorship Square made up, since the only other places I've seen it on is FF2 and FF12. Wonder how that'd sound like in Japanese XD

(and the word "spoony," which means "enamored in a silly or sentimental way" is used more or less correctly here)
Interesting to note however that the rest of the scene has far more insulting speech - if you analyse the japanese. Most of the time that Tellah says "you" in the scene, the japanese word used there is "kisama" - apparently the rudest way of saying "you" in japanese - akin to saying "you bastard" or "you son of a bitch".
