Another one of my plotbunnies
This one's been rabbiting on at me for a while - a while being about a week and a half.
Of course, I have a depressing idea that Advent Children represents the last of Sephiroth - what with Aerith's rain of deus ex machina curing geostigma and - in my mind - getting rid of Jenova.
But while trying to work out in my head how to accept that and still have Seph around I got this idea into my head of Seph's spirit being kind-of punished by being forced to share Cloud's head.
Of course, my otherwise Strifentine-soaked mindset also has that Cloud is currently involved with Vincent so oh the confuzzlement!
No, really, this is one of my bedtime fantasies - something nice and slashity to put myself to sleep with. As such they don't usually have a great deal of sense to them.
Edit:I've reconsidered it since seeing AC, the reasoning has altered only a little as to why Sephiroth's spirt has to be displaced from the Lifestream - it is too risky for him to be there while the Planet is recovering from it's own geostigma infection - the effect that having the dead spirits of geostigma-infected people entering it (spirits that Sephiroth could control). So to keep him from doing so he needs to be imprisioned outside the Lifestream and since Cloud has been cured even if Sephiroth could reach through the barriers the Planet builds in Cloud's mindscape he can't control Cloud - so, he's stuck.
