Mini Universe Jazz
I finally got around to getting myself a Universe Legends class Jazz.
Here's the obligatory "My toys are stealing my food!" picture. Jazz wants pizza, but I had to convince him it was not good for his health.
Jazz gets into a four-way hug with his movieverse brother and the police car brothers, Barricade and Prowlicade.
And in something unrelated...
For those who don't know, this is the "Gerwalk" mode. It originates from Macross/Robotech, like Jetfire's model does (go look at the wiki, it explains how Hasbro used to grab from more than just Takara in the early days), and is the centre of the "walking lawsuit" joke.
Meanwhile, I have started a project of making holoforms for my muses, by dint of making them human sims. My progress so far:
This is Prowl and Barricade. I'm sure it's obvious which is which, by colouring. I even managed a nod to Prowl's chevron in that his holo has red eyebrows.
Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. Sunny wanted to glamorous and gorgeous and the best model for that was an already existing sim I'd made for my KH Org 13 sims, Larxene's mother (whose name escapes me). The main difference is only in clothing and makeup, even the hair is the same as Larx's mum.
Sides is less glam, and red. I'd have gone for a darker red for Sides but all the official content were realistic orangey-reds and my custom content were either not a style I thought suited Sides or were really pinkish-toned.
It's actually telling how little I have in the way of bright yellow and red clothing actually, seems bright sunny yellows aren't popular.
Jazz was rather simple. He wanted dark skin, black hair, and blue shades.
I was lucky to find a head of black hair that had a blue tint, and was in a style I thought fitted Optimus. I don't have much blue-tinted blacks - I have purple tinted blacks but that's not appropriate for an Autobot, let alone the Autobot leader. I'd have gone for more blue in the outfit... but this one struck me as fitting when it came up so I stuck with it.
I also thought it appropriate that Optimus would have a slightly worried look.
This was my first Magnus. He was looking a bit too young. I've done some work on him since and he now has different hair, stubble, and red eyes behind a pair of blue sunnies not unlike Jazz's. That fits into the thing with White!Magnus having red optics while the big red white and blue Magnus has blue.
I still have more to do, but it's slow going.
