Fandom Gearshift

I've mentioned it before that I never stay in any one fandom for very long. I am currently worried at the moment that something with come along and cause me to shift gears.


There's this mental habit I have of thinking cheesy romantic lines about whatever my current OTP is, which sets me off daydreaming about them.

Up until recently the subject of that habit has been Seph/Cloud (like most people couldn't guess?) but I seem to have made a minor shift and Seph/Cloud just leaves me *blah* when I get one of those cheesy lines in mind.

Current pairing that hits the Yay! button is Laguna/Squall.


I worry that a fandom shift is just waiting for a new fandom to swoop in and catch my attention. (Oh, and I don't consider FF8 a new fandom, it's been co-existing with FF7 almost since the begining, 7 has gotten more attention.)

Random Thought

Squall is Galbadian. Anyone notice that?

Laguna's Galbadian, Raine lived on the Galbadian continent, therefore - racially speaking - Squall is Galbadian.

Pointless thought brought up by my fanficrants post.
