Me Myself and I - As Sims

You know what I said about making sims of my alter egos?

The Hyperbole twins come off looking a bit like stock sims, but that's mainly because I only have so much creativity in me and I do tend to use the stock faces as bases a bit.

I did go hunting a bit for heads of hair, which is what got me Anvelicon and Mimi's hair. I might have liked to have Mimi's hair a bit longer, but it was a matter of either long thin pigtails or big things full of dreads... with no blonde, and Mimi has to be blonde.

Mimi's face also comes up a bit weird in closeup - it has a few odd planes and jutting corners that I couldn't figure out how to get rid of.

And before you say it, Anvelicon doesn't have green eyes like his sister - he has red ones.

Anyway, I made them up as Young Adults so I can send them to Uni. I still haven't decided exactly where I'm going to place them - I am considering putting them in the big dorm so I can use them to establish a reputation for the place so I can later put some of my FF kids and Org sims in there.

I think I'll also refrain from killing any of the other sims too, so I can use them later when I decide to hook my FF/KH sims up - not all of them are going to linked to each other, Ellone alone is going to eventually need a perminent partner, when I get her into uni.

I did once write a variation on some of my classic Sues (almost all of my Sues dated back before I got online - except Hyperbole, who was actually became a deliberate Sue due to an interactive fic I contributed her to), thankfully, while the two fics are still online, they're stored in a relatively private archive.

Mimi actually was in the one I considered the better - a humour fic that admitedly did borrow a few gags from other places (mainly Python). She was mainly just there to be annoying and steal a valuable item for the fun of it.

I probably do have a rundown of my pre-internet ideas stored on [livejournal.com profile] houseofstrange, but they're quite TL;DR material.

I think it will be fun having Mimi and the twins running around my sims township.

I never wrote any of my Sues online... they're all just stored away in my little writing journals from junior high and high school, ready to be unearthed somewhere in my closet. All this talk of our private sues really take me back! ::gets misty-eyed::

Would you believe it, one of my biggest Sues has a lego figure that represents her? My dear Caroline Task - went dimension hopping and ended up joining the space police! Turned the base commander into a bit of a Stu as well when she started taking a fancy to him (he's got a lego figure as well - one of my very first too).

I think I have one picture of a lineup of several of my lego men but it was a damn blurry one. Some time when I'm more awake I'll get the bucket and dig out Carol and Jerry for a photoshoot with Vivi (my new, very little-used digital camera).

Really though, the things that really differenciate either of them from other lego men of the same type (basic space man from right after the "football helmet" revolution back in the mid 80s, and a second gen green-and-black uniformed space police) is a bit of perminent marker on Jerry that's hard to see and the letter "C" on Carol's helmet in Liquid Paper.
