KH2 Observations

Okay, so I wasn't able to keep away from the game. I figured when I put it on I'd simply watch through the opening FMV and get an idea of how to handle gameplay.

The Reaction command is going to be a pain - I already have enough problems in KH1 with handling both the attack button and the jump button!

The tasks for making munny on the Second Day are going to be a total bitch. I already tried the cargo one - bugger that!

On the matter of the guide book I got with it: I am in love with the pictures in it! The title page of the Enemies section (listing types of Heartless, Nobodies and Pirates) has large picture of a Dragoon on it. Damn that thing reminds me of FF7's Ultimate WEAPON!
The Dancers are also rather cute and I finally understand something about a comic someone drew with Luxord having a Gambler draped all over him.

And XEMNAS!!!!

Okay, so I knew Xemnas was pretty hot already (Ansemised!Riku is pretty damn hot and he and Xemnas share a face - if not the same hair style), but having nice, clear, large-size picture of him makes it even easier to see. The down side is that Ansem/Xehanort/Xemnas' voice in KH2 is waaaaaaaaaaay too deep for my liking! I liked Billy Zane dammit!

And while I'm on voices I'd gotten used to Leon sounding like Angel so the new voice of his is also putting me off!

But getting back to the point (XEMNAS!), I am starting to think that I can put more than just a perfunctory suport into Xemnas/Saïx now... and I totally am being a silly fangirl by saying that just because I got a nice clear picture that shows just how pretty Xemnas's lips are is.

Riku also has pretty lips.

But, enough. I have work to get dressed for and a damn gummi ship to alter to worry about in KH1 before I can start beating Roxas' my head against those damn errands in KH2.

I'm starting out in Beginner mode - yeah, I know, pathetic, but I am still practically a novice in console games - I've only had my PS2 for a few months and my only console history is tetris, Sim City (classic) and fiddling a tiny bit with Donkey Kong and Killer Insticnt back when I had a SNES, and most of the time since I've had my PS2 has been stalled on the damn barrels in KH1 and I don't have access to powersaves for KH2 (Codejunkies is slow that way) so I'm going to have to play it the hard way.

So, conclusion? I'm starting in Beginner, then I'll do Standard, then Proud.

Sounds like a good idea. :3
It'll allow you to get used to quickly using limits and changing into different forms as well.

And, battlewise, with a few exceptions, it's a relatively easy game.

Yeah. I don't have a hell of a lot of action gaming experience and even less console experience so taking it slow is how I wish to carry it out (plus I am still early in KH1 yet - just finished Deep Jungle).
