O_O
The Griever-bunny just jumped on me with an interesting little image.
So, some time ago the lion-rabbit came up with a massive crossover idea (more-so than the general the-GFs-are-characters-from-other-FF-games crossover factor inherit in the Griever-bunny anyway) where a temporal accident drags multiple versions of characters from various worlds across the Lifestream's history into a strange mish-mash world that shows features of all the worlds.
The main thing about this sub-plunny is for the WTF reactions when various characters meet past or future versions of each other.
Now there's one mental image that is stuck in my mind with this plot, one where the alliance of displaced folk have to marshal as much fire power as they can against an enemy that I never came up with an identity for. Now the bit where FF3 comes in is this scene, and the idea that Desch - apparently having been in suspended animation in the Tower of Owen for ages (I read that on the FF Wiki - I haven't played the Tower yet) - originally came from a far more advanced culture than is currently in existence in FF3, and therefore knows how to handle a gun.
It's a bit far-fetched, now that I think about it, but the image struck me as interesting.
