Well I heard the Aussie price for the PS3 - $700. For everyone else, that's about $578 USD.

Dammit, I think I might just have to collect PS games until the damn thing gets cheaper. Either that or bust my gut trying to save up for it.

Edit: Shit, I just scared myself when I entered the conversion rate for $750 wrong! Anyhow, I was asking Mum if that meant the 20GB or the 60GB and she corrected the amount. The news item didn't say which capacity that was for either.

It's actually been announced that it's either $500 or $600 here, depending on which size hard drive you buy (20GB or 60GB). I liked it a lot better when the rumored price was $400, especially since I'm aiming for the more expensive 60GB one... ;_; I'll end up with a PS3 and no games to play XD;;

Yeah, that's the American price. You can probably chalk up the extra $40 to shipping or just plain profit margin.

I don't know what the $750 (Mum just corrected it) will include though, the news item didn't say.
