There aren't any more colours for cats - I could change the bigger one, but just to a much darker panther.
And I'm fairly sure I could do portraits. I just need the right pictures. From memory 38x60 pixel bitmaps, 16 bit colour.
By the way, I think Aerie has the mage sprite and paper doll. I don't know how to change the paper doll, but as Aeris is a not-joinable character it doesn't matter and the sprite is easy to change. Off I go to fiddle...
